He should be able to do this because he is finally working a day job. Woo Hoo! The children have a father again. I feel like a real married person again, not someone who's boyfriend visits on the weekends :). It was a long 12 years. So far, I think I'm getting the better end of this deal. I get more help, he gets a crazier wife than ever.
As for the crime scene, those who faithfully read my every word (no one) know that the spray and splatter were the results of an attempt to spray paint a pogo stick red. Yep, in the bedroom. Mostly, the stick was by the wall, some shooting out to the door, but they must have started out facing the bed as we have splatter on bed sheets as well. The holes were not caused by the pogo stick. In a completely unrelated incident, I foolishly sent someone to his room without installing an industrial strength door first. Someone's ADHD and charm bracelet of related comorbid conditions was in full swing that day (This is what a bad day looks like). Someone else is dumb enough to to think it is better to ignore the banging noises because he obviously just wants attention. Or, then again, maybe he just wants to destroy the door. With a broom. A broom with a metal handle. A broom whose metal handle was broken into 3 pieces. In 5 minutes. Only the broom died in this crime and the door is only severely handicapped. The criminal was charged with yard labor to earn the money to replace the door and broom. He is currently done finishing his sentence, but the judge is too busy installing floors to install doors.
The criminal's mom doubts the punishment will change future behavior, based on her personal experience. What will work? These are the questions that would keep her and all other moms with kids like hers up nights if it weren't for the fact that we pass out in exhaustion before getting that far. Aren't you just dying to lead my exciting life?
